When contractors call us, they usually ask for the same three things. Quicker timecard processing. Faster approvals. Better reporting. Those are reasonable requests. They are also the wrong starting point, because each one assumes the current workflow is the right workflow and just needs to move faster.
It does not. The workflow itself is the problem. Paper timesheets that get re-keyed. Approvals that sit in email for three days. Labor data that arrives in payroll too late to catch errors and too late to inform a staffing decision. You can speed that up, but you cannot fix it by speeding it up.
The Real Problem Is Structure
The gap between field execution and financial outcomes is structural. Labor is 40 to 60 percent of project cost on most construction jobs, and for most contractors the data that describes that labor sits in a paper packet for a week before it lands in the ERP. By the time finance sees it, the job is already over budget or already behind schedule. There is nothing to do with the information except reconcile it.

That is not a speed problem. That is a design problem. And it is why adding an admin to process timecards faster, or adding a reporting layer on top of late data, does not move the number. It locks in the same workflow at a higher headcount.
What We Build Instead

ALMobile redesigns the path from the field to the back office. Field time, production, and cost data are captured at the point of work on a mobile device that runs online or offline. The data is classified against the right cost codes, job numbers, and pay rules as it is captured, not after. It is routed through the V13 API portal to the ERP, the HCM, the project management system, and the BI layer you already run. The pay period closes on time because the data was right the first time.
That is the platform. Not a time tool bolted onto the side of an ERP. A productivity intelligence platform that owns the field data layer and connects it to every system that needs it.
The Money Math

Time automation alone saves 5 to 7 percent of payroll for a typical construction contractor. Production tracking layered on top saves another 5 to 7 percent of the job budget by catching cost overruns while the crew is still on site, not after the job closes. On a contractor running a 300 million dollar book of work, that is real money. It is also the reason hiring another admin is not the answer. An admin does not give you production intelligence. A platform does.
From Reactive to Controlled
Most contractors run reactive operations because their systems require it. They chase timecards. They reconcile errors after payroll. They manage a constant delay between what happened in the field and what the back office knows. ALMobile removes those dependencies. Real-time visibility into labor and production. Decisions made on current data, not last week’s data. Controlled operations instead of a reconciliation loop.
The Point
If the question is how to process a broken workflow faster, the answer is always more headcount. If the question is how to align field execution with financial outcomes, the answer is a different workflow. That is what we build, and that is where operational advantage actually comes from.
